Visit to the Library

The fall weather was absolutely gorgeous for our walk downtown to the county library last Wednesday.  The leaves crunched under our feet as we made our way down the sidewalks and Halloween decorations greeted us from many yards and porches.  Our purpose for this trip was to learn about the different resources available at the library, and where to find them.  The librarian gave us a tour of the audiovisual room, the children's room, the young reader's non-fiction area, and also showed us how to use the online card catalog. She tallked about the computers that are available for use by parents and their children for games and research.  Students were even given their very own library cards and are very excited to use them!  The library will be a valuable resource this year as students complete research projects and check out books to practice reading.  It is our hope that parents will take their sons and daughters to the library often, enjoying all it has to offer.  We want to thank the Warren Public Library for allowing us to visit.
