School is Coming Soon!

School supplies are rolling into stores and July is marching along. Shiny floors smelling of fresh wax and boxes yet to be unpacked awaited me when I visited my classroom last week. Before we know it, moms and dads will be arriving with armloads of supplies and children eager to check out their new classroom. Will you be ready? There is so much yet to done, but the excitement mounts as August looms closer!

Being a teacher is full of ups, downs, and in betweens. I love the look on a students face when they learn how to read. I love when students can solve problems on their own. I absolutely love when students feel proud of their work, and want to share it with the class. This blog is going to be full of moments in the classroom, pictures, and sometimes videos.
